We have a large suitcase. Will that be a problem taking that on the small boat or is there a place where our luggage will be stored while we go on the small boat to the floating market?
Answers (1)Answered by Vietnam Travel Center
0 HelpfulThe boat employed to do the morning visit to the floating market is a longboat, which makes it possible to bring your luggage with you. We have a net with small scales to cover all the luggage to make sure that they will be left untouched on the longboat during your visit.

Is there medical attendance on RV Jahan cruise?
Answers (1)Answered by Vietnam Travel Center
0 HelpfulWe are equipped with first aid and key medical supplies. All senior staff members and IMO certified personnel have attended first aid courses. In the event of serious illness or accidents we are never more than 2 hours away by car or speed boat from a main hospital or 5 hours from Saigon or Phnom Penh where there are international hospitals and air evacuation facilities. We have a rescue boat that can accommodate up to 6 passengers. It is advisable to check with your doctor if you are fit for travel or require prophylactic drugs or inoculations. We apologize that we do not have facilities for disabled persons. There are no elevators or wheelchair access. If a passenger is unable to access a Ship and mount stairs unaided, Heritage Line reserves the right to refuse to accept that passenger.
Please note: Due to various reasons such as heat and humidity, physical activities, personal hygiene, change of food, in order to avoid stomach illness during the cruise please be cautious when buying and eating food during your land excursions, washing your hands often. Passengers must have insurance for medical expenses and repatriation; the company is not responsible for any of those liabilities.

Which room should we book? Which side of the boat is preferable?
Answers (1)Answered by Vietnam Travel Center
0 HelpfulAll cabins are open space. However, I highly recommend you should book cabin at the middle or cabin at the front of the ship to avoid noisy of engine located at Aft (stern). The cabin on Upper Deck is better, but its price is higher accordingly.

Is the water level high enough that we will not have a problem navigating from Siem Reap to Saigon?
Answers (1)Answered by Vietnam Travel Center
0 Helpful-> Departures in January will be applied low water program. This means boat CANNOT cross Tonle Sap river and the embarkation pier is Kampong Cham that is far-away around 240 km from Siem Reap centre.
It takes around 4.5 to 5 hours by our complimentary shuttle bus from Victoria Angkor hotel & spa Siem Reap (meeting-point) to Kampong Cham pier.
-> Disembarkation of this cruise is My Tho. Then transfer by shuttle bus from My Tho to drop off point in Saigon - Renaissance Riverside Hotel. It takes around 2hours for this transfer.
-> Please note that all cruises CANNOT cross Tonle Sap river in low water.
